PBL Entry Event
The following is the entry activity for the Student Driven Performance PBL. A balance was struck between giving the students enough information to spark their interest but not enough to overwhelm them. This lesson focuses on phase 1 activities which culmintate in the Performance Practice presentation and selection of a performance practice to emulate. In subsequent lessons students will be asked to split into groups and research a performance practice of their choice. They will then present their findings to the group with the aim of convincing other students to vote that their prefered performance practice. In the following lesson, or if time remains during the introductory activity students will start forming groups to begin the research process.
